Haizara

Haizara is an aluminum ashtray, folded using the origami technique. In this product, I applied the principles of Japanese paper folding on the metal sheet using a laser cutting machine, which results in a metallic paper that can be folded manually and effortlessly. As a result of this process, the One-Off principle is obtained which gives the product a sentimental value, and in addition, using this technique allows Flat-Pack Packaging thus lowering shipping costs.
